The last couple of seasons have shown a huge increase into textured knitting and this workshop aims to show and inspire you into creating this kind of knitted fabric successfully and with enjoyment.
Creating texture in knitting can be as simple as creating a pattern using knit and purl stitches only. Or it can be elaborately twisting cables mixed with bobbles on a Moss Stitch base. Wherever your aim is pitched at, this workshop will enable you to learn, explore and practise how to work a number of different textured patterns that range in ability and difficulty. You will be shown how to work cables, twist stitches and create bobbles in your knitting. You will also get guidance on how to follow a charted pattern successfully; something that is becoming increasingly common with contemporary knitting patterns, and see a number of different possibilities for your knitting.
This workshop is suitable for all established knitters, and is aimed to inspire!
